Guy McEntyre is one of the founders of Hall & Co Solicitors and has over 20 years’ experience in the Queensland legal industry. Guy is an Alumni Mentor to students of Central Queensland University Law School and is a proud volunteer for the Brisbane Coast Guard and Mt Gravatt Show Society, as well as holding the position of CEO of the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds Trust. He is a qualified Justice of the Peace who volunteers to help the community by witnessing documents. When he is not involved with a busy law firm, Guy can be found out at the race track either racing himself or fulfilling his role managing Supercar drivers.

Helen Nguyen

Helen is a solicitor with years of experience in family law, including parenting, property settlement, divorce, and wills and estates. She is a warm and empathetic solicitor who strives to achieve the best results for her clients. Her background in humanitarian work with the United Nations, TedX Sydney and not-for-profit mental health and disability support organisations, makes her a kind and caring solicitor who understands the sensitive nature of family law and can effectively help her clients through an emotional and vulnerable stage in their lives. 

Outside of work, Helen enjoys creative writing and freelance journalism, running marathons, travelling and spending time with her corgi. 

Jo Mercer

Office Manager

Jo is a highly experienced professional with more than 15 years of dedicated expertise in the fields of insurance, construction, and law. As a reliable and exceptionally efficient Office Manager, she effectively manages various facets of our legal practice. Her diverse skill set and steadfast dedication make her an essential member of our organization, facilitating seamless operations and outstanding performance in all legal matters.

Outside of work you will find Jo spending time with her family and friends or keeping active playing netball and AFL. 

Quinn Howell

Law Clerk

Quinn is a driven individual with a passion for justice and a knack for problem-solving. Currently in his fourth year studying a Bachelor of Law Honours at Griffith University, Quinn's journey began with a foundation in criminology at the University of Southern Maine. With two years hands-on experience at a law practice under his belt, Quinn brings a practical edge to his academic pursuits. His particular interest in civil law and litigation, coupled with expertise in wills and enduring power of attorney, reflects his dedication to navigating complex legal matters with precision and poise. As he continues to hone his skills, Quinn stands poised to make a meaningful impact in the field of law. 

Beyond the courtroom, Quinn finds solace on the basketball court, where his competitive spirit shines.
